What was his gross pay for the week?

Answer.Gross pay: $150.
  2. Hailey has a 5 hour shift in the local coffee shop and earns $18 per hour. She is a good worker and gives good customer service. The manager therefore increases Hailey's hourly rate by 5%.

How much extra will Hailey now earn for her shift?

Answer.An extra $4.50.
  3. Kris' normal pay is $12.60 per hour. Find his gross weekly wage if he worked 35 hours at the normal rate, 5 hours at "time and a half" and 2.5 hours at double time.
Answer.Gross pay = $598.50.
